The Sheffield Bike Stand gives you maximum security for your bike. Instead of connecting the bike wheels to the frame, you can lock the bike via the whole body, making sure thieves can’t disconnect the cycle from the wheel and steal the frame. The steel is hot-dip galvanised so that it won’t rust outdoors. It is durable and economical, perfect for schools, universities and colleges.
The entire length of your bike is protected. Wheels can buckle in some bicycle stands if forced, which won’t happen with the Sheffield Bike Stand. You have two options when purchasing the bike stand; bolted-down or concreted-in. Each version has a robust steel design for extra strength, giving excellent bike security. Tough, durable and rust-free lifetime while still being economical.
No need to bend over to lock your bike. Individual units allow you to separate bikes as far as you need to, meaning you place the bike stands as far or close to each other as you see fit. However, if you want to install numerous bike stands together quickly, the Sheffield Style Toast Rack Bike Stand is available with five heads welded to one base for easy installation.
The Sheffield range offers cost-effective bike storage for various environments. They are ideal for schools, business premises, public spaces, and more.
How to install the Sheffield bike rack
There are two choices of installation for the Sheffield bike rack; either bolted down or concreted in. The bolt-down option can be bolted directly into concrete. It is advised to run the Sheffield bike rack down into pre-existing concrete pads for best results. Simply mark the holes for the fixings, drill each gap (8 in total) and use the fixings to tighten the rack into position.
The sub-surface option can be cast into concrete. The longer bars on this option allow it to be as high as the bolt-down option once it has been installed into the ground.
