The XPT Speed Hump provides an excellent traffic calming product for use in private car parks or on urban roads. The vulcanised rubber design provides a long-lasting speed hump option that is suitable for cars and HGVs. The XPT speed hump is made to slow vehicle traffic to approximately 25km/h.
Each mid-section is equipped with 12no. reflective 3M markings for better visibility. For even further reflectivity they are also equipped with cats eyes for excellent day and night use by vehicles.
The modular design of the XPT hump allows for fast installation on site. The mid-sections and end-sections can be pieced together using integral connection points. The sections themselves are also easily installed directly into concrete using the fixing points.
The longer design of this speed hump compared to traditional speed bumps means a more gradual bump for drivers. This helps to reduce vehicle speed without the need for them to come to a near stop, thus helping traffic to maintain a near constant flow.
