The De-icing Salt bin has a wide opening to allow for easy filling and extraction of grit, salt or sand. It can be used to store whatever loose item you wish - ideal for storage of granular de-icing salt. The top of the bunker is designed to prevent the collection of snow and rainwater, useful in the winter months. This ensures the material inside remains dry. Manufactured from medium density polyethylene UV stabilised the Grit and Salt Bunker will not rot and painting is never required.
The De-icing Salt Bunker is ideal for use in shopping centres, car parks and areas of high pedestrian traffic. The Grit/Salt Bunker comes in high visibility yellow as standard (other colours are available upon request). As an optional extra your company name or logo can be printed on the lid of the Grit/Salt Bunker to help promote your company and a lock can be fitted as an extra security measure.
